2025 has been a year of massive creative breakthrough after creative breakthrough for me.
I started the year sick in bed: a blessing in disguise that gave me time to gather all my writing and art from the past eight years into one place. On my birthday, I curated and hosted a solo art show to share my paintings and poetry for the first time. A month later, my dance teacher and I guided 14 women through a powerful embodiment ritual to liberate our sensual expression. And just last week, I shared the stage with my Siren Sisters to perform an intimate dance we choreographed ourselves.
All these breakthroughs have something in common: something in my heart said, YOU MUST DO THIS. I faced immense resistance and fear, but moved forward anyway. And every time, the reward was infinitely greater than what I could have imagined.
Each breakthrough was an act of deep vulnerability: a raw, wild expression of my heart.
Each breakthrough took me to the edge of my ability: challenging me to go beyond what I thought I was capable of.
And each breakthrough brought an immense feeling of satisfaction, fulfillment, delight, and connection. My measure of emotional risk was met with an equal measure of resonance, impact, and reciprocity from my community.
I opened myself to be seen in ways I never had before, which opened up channels to receive genuine love like never before.
This is the true gift of living with a HEART ON FIRE.
